Walter spent almost five years as a full-time NYBay banker before returning to his native Peru several years ago, where he now represents NYBay's interests. 

 

Walter has for many years served as a senior executive in a large supermarket company controlled by his family, but has also continuously served as an advisor to the Government in matters related to foreign investment.  As such, he has supervised the founding and capitalization of several businesses with foreign investment, particularly in energy, oil & gas and chemical product manufacturing.  

 

Prior to joining NYBay, Walter was a Senior Commercial Specialist for the Office of Foreign Investment of Peru, where he participated in the origination of cross-border M&A activities.

Walter has an MBA from the University of Miami with a concentration in finance, and a certificate in general management from Harvard Business School.
