Juan Pablo Ospina comes recently to NYBay having worked with Julio Marquez for many years at Global Emerging Markets Group, where he was Colombian representative at the time Julio directed Latin American for GEM.  Based in Bogotá, Juan Pablo sources transactions and, most importantly, ensures that our clients in Colombia receive the best possible attention.  Juan Pablo has over 35 years' professional experience in finance, particularly in M&A advisory and private equity.

Juan Pablo's professional experience includes director or partner level positions in Colombia at Edgewater Strategy Group, Bonus Banca de Inversión, CFC-SK Capital and SEAF Colombia (Colombia's first PE fund).  And prior to that, Juan Pablo held positions of increasing repsonsibility in New York, including at WestSphere, HSBC and Credit Lyonnais.

 

Juan Pablo has an MBA from New York University and holds a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
